Good News!

This is a huge honor girls, so congratulations and remember how amazing you are and what you all mean to me!

Two Items of Business!

Let's get the more official item of business out of the way first... For any of you who have not turned in your RA evaluations to Jenna Matheson (RA on the 6th floor) please do so ASAP. It takes less than three minutes to fill out the form, so please, help me out and hand those into her! Thank you!

Secondly, and this one is going to be fun... We are going to have a WHITE ELEPHANT night on December 3rd @ 9 pm in the Valley View Basement! Here is the deal, you can only spend $5 or less (that's tax included!), and you need to be creative! Now, you don't have to purchase anything- homemade things are perfect too! I hope you all are as excited as I am!

Okay ladies,

Get ready... here we go with a boat load of stuff to know:

1-T-Shirt designs are due by Thursday at 5 pm... I only have one and I would like at least 5! Show your creativity chickadees!

2-I need to know who would like to buy the floor t-shirts. Email me immediately after reading this if you want one! Thanks!

3- If you are planning on participating in the trick-or-treating for the little kids on Friday from 4-6 pm... let me know... we provide the candy! :D

4-Just a bit of fore-warning... we will be having Cleaning and Safety Inspections sometime the week of November 9th. This is where I make sure that each of your rooms are clean and safe... I will be giving you a check-off list as the time gets closer. Good luck cleaning!

Door Decorating

I know most of you have seen all of the doors that were decorated at our "Hall"-oween activity on Thursday, but if not, here they are! Great ideas girls! They all look GREAT!

T-Shirts GALLORE!!!

Okay ladies... here is the deal. By next Thursday (October 29th @ 5 pm) I need your sketches, drawings, files, or whatever else you may have as your ideas for our floor's t-shirts. I also need a tally of who would like to order a t-shirt. They are each going to be roughly between $5-8. Please email me or slip a note under my door! Thanks so much ladies! You are all truly awesome!

Reminder!!!

Tomorrow is the first Sweet Tooth Tuesday! 10:30 pm in our lobby- please come! Brittany and Marlen are making rice krispies, so it should be GREAT! :D

Oh, and this Thursday is our door decorating activity! Meet in our lobby @ 7:30 pm and we will go from there!

Floor T-Shirts!!!

Ladies!!! I am working on getting all of us t-shirts for the floor to remember this year! I am hoping to get them before this semester is over, so I need some help from you girls. First off, I need to know who would be interested in getting the t-shirts; I just need a rough estimate for now, and later on in the month I'll have a sign up sheet on my door. I also want you to know up front that it will cost a little bit on your part, but I'm trying to work it out so they are super cheap. :) Secondly, I need a design!!!! :D If any of you are super artistic or just want to put your design ideas on a t-shirt, please let me know. Slide it under my door, or email it to me if it's photoshop. We will then post the options online and take a vote! Thanks ladies and I can't wait to get our t-shirts!

How to---- on how to become a hippie!

Ladies! Next Tuesday is a day you all should keep open in your schedules! Mainly between the times of 6:30 and 8:30 pm!!! :D We are going to be having a program with the 3rd and 6th floors in Valley View and be tie dying! It's going to be totally groovy and you are able to bring only two items of clothing that you want to dye. We will be meeting on the grassy area right behind Valley View by the parking lot! Can't wait to see you there! :D

Festival de Towers

This Thursday from 7-9 pm Mountain View and Valley View Towers are having a carnival out on Central Campus lawn in front of the Junction. There will be food, fun and games! Please plan on joining us and having an enjoyable time! :D I hope to see all of you there!

Roommate Agreements!

WOW BBQ

Just a reminder... the Week of Welcome BBQ is tomorrow night on the lawn in front of Mountain View at 4 pm. The WOW agendas that are on your doors say 5-7 pm, but for Central Campus residents, it starts an hour early! :D

Welcome to Utah State and VVT 7th Floor!

Hello Ladies! I'm Megan Murray, your RA (Resident Assistant) for the year of 2009-2010.

I thought it would be a good idea to have an online blog where our floor can see different updates about our floor activities, programs, campus-wide activities, and much, much more! If any of you ever take any pictures of the residents on the floor or of programs and activities, I'd be more than happy to upload those so we can all see the fun things that are going on.

I have added a few pictures of myself and my family on this blog so when you see me on the floor and around campus, you'll be able to say hi! Also, with your permission, I'll be adding any pictures that we do take from the programs and random activities on this blog. I hope you all check up for updates on this blog as often as you can.
